How God Gives You Victory

Zephaniah 3:14-17
Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout aloud, O Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem! For the Lord will remove his hand of judgment and will disperse the armies of your enemy. And the Lord himself, the King of Israel, will live among you! At last your troubles will be over, and you will never again fear disaster. On that day the announcement to Jerusalem will be, “Cheer up, Zion! Don’t be afraid! For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”

1. God Will Remove the Judgments Against You
(Zephaniah) For the Lord will remove his hand of judgment…
Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me…

2. God Will Defeat Your Enemies
(Zephaniah) For the Lord… will disperse the armies of your enemy.
Deuteronomy 20:1, 4
When you go out to battle against our enemies and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the Lord your God... is with you... goes before you to fight for you against your enemies to save you.

3. God Will Be Present With You
(Zephaniah) And the Lord himself, the King of Israel, will live among you!

4. God Will Calm All Your Fears
(Zephaniah) With his love, he will calm all your fears.

5. God Will Delight In You With Gladness
(Zephaniah) He will take delight in you with gladness… He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”
